MARYVILLE, Mo. - Bearcat fans, in advance of Thursday night's home-opening football game vs. Missouri Western, the Northwest Missouri State University department of athletics would like to encourage fans to enjoy the game-day experience at Bearcat Stadium. 

The first 3,000 fans in attendance will receive a free "Light Em Up" T-shirt courtesy US Bank, SAC, Rapid Elite, Hy-Vee and Student Body.

NOTE: Hughes Fieldhouse will not be open Thursday. The formal grand opening for Hughes Fieldhouse is set for Oct. 12.

Bearcat Cross Country The Northwest Missouri State University cross country teams, under the direction of new head coach Brandon Masters, will open their 2018 season Friday, Aug. 31, at home in the Bearcat Open. The 6 p.m. race will take place at the Bearcat cross country course, located just west of campus. It can be accessed via Donaldson Westside Park.
