Bearcats fall to rival Missouri Western

Story Headlines
- The Northwest Missouri State University baseball team falls to Missouri Western, 4-0, on Friday in Warrensburg, Mo.
- The Bearcats fall to 30-22 overall while the Griffons improve to 29-23 overall.

Key Northwest Statistics
- Missouri Western scored two runs in the fifth and two runs in the eighth inning.
- The Bearcats had no runs on five hits and one error. The Griffons had four runs on eight hits with no errors.
- Landon Figg finished the day going 2-for-4 with a double. 
- Hudson Bilodeau also went 2-for-4.
- Kevin Handzlik was 1-for-3 with a stolen base and a walk. 
- Aaron Barratt and Derek Hussey both drew walks. 

Key Northwest Innings
- In the bottom of the third inning the Bearcats held the Griffons to a three up three down inning. The first two batters flew out to Barratt and the last batter popped up to Rycraft. 

- In the fourth inning, Brad Roberts recorded two strike outs to give the Bearcats another three up three down inning.
