- The Bearcats had one run on four hits with no errors. Missouri Western had no runs on two hits with no errors.

- Gilson started the bottom of the fifth inning with a single to center field. After two outs, Baderdeen hit a double down the left field line to score Gilson from first to give the Bearcats a 1-0 lead.Â
