Baseball falls in final game against NSU

- The Northwest Missouri State University baseball team fell in final game against Northeastern State.
- The Bearcats are now 10-9 overall and 7-2 in conference while NSU improved to 11-9 overall and 3-6 in conference play.

- Northwest scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning. The RiverHawks scored once in the third, once in the fourth and once in the fifth.

- Figg started the inning with a walk and Hassman followed him up with a single through the left side. Handzlik put down a sacrifice bunt to advance the runners to second and third. Gutierrez hit a sacrifice fly to deep right field to score Figg. The next batter Barratt, hit a single up the middle to score Hassman and cut the RiverHawks lead to one.
