Bearcats close home stand against Quincy

HOME STAND FINALE
The Northwest Bearcats will take on Quincy University in the final game of a five game home stand Wednesday. Northwest is 1-3 in those games with two of those losses being by 4 or less points. The Quincy Hawks come into the game with a 3-7 record. They are averaging 8.5 steals per game and have two players averaging double figures.  

LAST TIME OUT
The Northwest Missouri State women's basketball team led most of the game but was unable to finish in a close contest with McKendree where they were defeated, 59-55.
Northwest held the lead in the contest for 28:18 but fell victim to 3-of-11 shooting in the fourth quarter and five turnovers.

The game was tied at 53-53 following a Jaelyn Haggard three-pointer with 1:44 left in regulation. But McKendree answered with a four-point play from Jordan Heberg on the ensuing possession to give the visiting Bearcats a 57-53 lead with 1:22 left on the clock. 
Northwest allowed 14 offensive rebounds and had 19 turnovers in the game.
