Northwest defeated Nebraska Christian College 67-48 to make them 2-0 at home on the season and 3-4 overall. The Bearcats forced 22 turnovers and only committed six miscues. 

Jaelyn Haggard led the Bearcats in scoring with 21 points and five steals. Kendey Eaton with 15 and Kaylani Maiava with 10, were the other Bearcats in double figures. Erika Schlosser led the team with nine assists and Mallory McConkey led with eight rebounds. Northwest went 9-of-27 from behind the three-point line. 

Camry Porter led Nebraska Christian College with 20 points. Kayla Bloodworth had a double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds.  

The Bearcats will play their conference opener at home Thursday, December 6 against 5-0 Lincoln University. Tip is set for 5:30 p.m. in Bearcat Arena.

NOTE: The nine assists by Schlosser is the most by a player this season in the MIAA.
