- The Reddies pushed the Bearcats in the third set. Northwest trailed, 18-16, but went on a 5-0 run to take the lead. After a pair of HSU attacking errors, Sydney Burton put away a kill to force a timeout. Bruder added a kill and Sofia Schleppenbach had a block to make it a 21-18 Northwest advantage. HSU would tie the match up again at 23-23, but the Bearcats would score three of the final four points to take the set and the match.
