Game Two Key Innings
- Maher had a hard hit line drive to start the seventh but it was right at the second baseman for the first out. Adams drew a walk and went to second on a Rawie single. Gilson hit a double to center, driving in Adams to make it 2-1 Emporia State. Allen hit a double that cleared the right fielder's reach and bounced up against the wall. Rawie came in from third to tie the game and Gilson beat the tag at the plate to score the winning run.
- Posegate set the Hornets down in order in the first and third innings.

- Northwest will host a Saturday double header against Washburn starting at noon. Prior to the game, the Bearcats will honor seniors Blythe and Adams.
