- With one down in the fourth, Adams doubled down the right field line and went to third on a Figg groundout. With two down, Holler singled to drive in Adams to cut the Truman State lead to 3-1.
- Figg drew a two out walk in the sixth inning and went to second ona balk. Holler hit a double to right center to drive in Figg, making it 5-3, which forced a Bulldog pitching change.
