Key Northwest Sequences
- Northwest set the tone early in the first set, jumping out to an 8-0 lead as Sunderman recorded three aces in the sequence and Bruder added a pair of kills. Southwest Baptist would never get to within six of Northwest for the rest of the set.
- SBU would make things interesting in the third set and held a 5-4 lead before Northwest went on a 4-0 run. Southwest Baptist was called for a pair of bad sets while Bruder added a kill and Schleppenbach and
Taylor Linenberger added a block to make it 9-5 Northwest. SBU would get to with in one, 12-11, but Northwest would score five of the next six poiints to pull away for good.
