2017 Schedule

MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Northwest Missouri State University football program has released its 2017 schedule. The slate includes five home games for the back-to-back defending national champions. The Bearcats have won 19 straight home games dating back to the 2014 season, the second longest streak in program history. There are five schedule home games in Maryville, Mo., this season and six on the road.

Northwest opens the season on Thursday, Aug. 31, at home against Emporia State University. After road trips to Washburn (Sept. 7) and Nebraska-Kearney (Sept. 16), the Bearcats return home to face Missouri Southern on Sept. 23 for Family Weekend. Northwest's remaining home schedule includes Central Oklahoma (Oct. 7), Lindenwood (Oct. 21) for Homecoming and Senior Day is scheduled for Nov. 4 against Fort Hays State. The Bearcats will travel to play Central Missouri (Sept. 30), Northeastern State (Oct. 14), Pittsburg State (Oct. 28) and Missouri Western (Nov. 11).
