- The Bearcats won the first set, 25-23, and took the second, 25-15. After falling in the third, 26-14, Northwest closed out the match with a 25-14 fourth set win.

Key Northwest Sequence
- Down 15-11 in the first set, Northwest used an 11-2 run to pull ahead and take the early lead in the match, 22-17. A kill from
Darcy Sunderman and blocks from Williams and
Miranda Foster pushed it to set point at 24-20 later in the set. After two Golden Sun points, Northwest forced an attacking error to win the set, 25-22.
- With the score tied 6-6 in the fourth set, the Bearcats took control of the point with a 6-0 run. Arkansas Tech committed four-straight attacking errors including a block by Williams and Dannettell to make it 10-6 Northwest. Dannettell got a kill off an assist from Nowakowski to make it 11-6, forcing a timeout. The lead stretched to 12-6 as Williams and Bruder combined on a block.
