Kendle Schieber (18-4) threw five solid innings, striking out seven and allowing only two base hits. The senior gave up one run in the third, halting the Bearcat scoreless innings streak at 26. Schieber added an RBI on a sacrifice fly at the plate.

Game One Key Innings- Moses drilled a one-out double to left center in the first inning, prompting a string of five-straight Northwest batters reaching base. After Maher drew a walk, a pair of wild pitches allowed Moses to cross home plate. Kelsey knocked in Maher with a sharp single to left in the next at bat. Back-to-back singles from Adams and Rawie plated another run before Adams scored on the third wild pitch of the inning. Schieber completed the rally when she lifted a sacrifice fly to right.

- Northwest added a pair of runs in the second inning when Blythe reached on an error on a routine grounder to second. Maher drove in the junior with a double to left center before scoring on a dropped pop up off the bat of Kelsey.

- The Bearcats continued their run-scoring deluge in the third after Rawie drew a leadoff walk. Jones worked the count full before sending a 3-2 pitch soaring over the fence in left center, handing Northwest a 9-1 advantage.

Sarah Baldwin tossed her third consecutive complete game shutout, striking out seven Lion hitters and allowing just two hits. The senior has not allowed a run in 22-straight innings.

Alexis Kelsey finished 3-for-3 with three RBIs and three runs scored. The freshman crushed her ninth home run of the season in her second at bat.

Torri Blythe added a 3-for-3 effort, reaching on a trio of infield singles and a walk. The junior scored twice.

Game Two Key Innings- The Bearcats sent all nine hitters to the plate in the first inning, jumping out to a 4-0 lead. Blythe beat out an infield single to first before Moses lifted a single to left center. Kelsey drove in Blythe with a solid single to center before Adams drew a walk to load the bases. Rawie reached on an error by the shortstop, knocking in Moses. Schieber drilled a two-RBI single to left center in the next at bat to complete the Bearcat run.
- Kelsey crushed a pitch to deep center in the bottom of the second after Blythe reached on another infield single, giving Northwest a 6-0 lead.
- Northwest added a run in the fourth after Kelsey drove a frozen rope single to left. Rawie dropped a single into center two batters later that rolled past the Lion defender, allowing Kelsey to score from first.
- Jones opened the fifth with a liner to center before Baderdeen reached on a dropped pop up to short. Blythe loaded the bases with her third infield single of the game, bringing up Moses. The freshman sent a screaming single to left, scoring Jones and giving Northwest an eight-run advantage to end the game.
