Game Two Key Statistics (Northwest 10, Missouri Western 9, eight innings)

- Jessica Rawie drove in four runs with a first inning grand slam, finishing 1-for-3 with a walk.
- Rebecca Maher clubbed three doubles for the third time in her career, a feat accomplished by only three other Bearcats in the history of the program. The shortstop scored two runs and drove in three more.

Game Two Key Innings
- Northwest got the ball rolling right from the start when Blythe singled past a diving second baseman to lead off the first. After swiping second, Blythe headed for third on Moses' sacrifice bunt. The freshman was safe at first after the first baseman muffed the throw. Maher followed with a two-base hit to right center, driving in Blythe. After Kelsey drew a walk, Adams sent a sharp ground ball to the shortstop. Moses beat the shortstop's throw to the plate, leaving the bases loaded for Rawie. The catcher crushed a 1-0 pitch just inside the left field foul pole, handing the Bearcats a 6-0 lead six batters into the contest.

- The Bearcats added a run in the fifth when Maher sent a frozen rope double into the left field corner. She scored two batters later when Adams grounded out to first.

- With the Griffons closing the gap to 7-4 in the top of the sixth, Northwest added two crucial insurance runs in the bottom half of the inning. Baderdeen reached on an infield single to short before Blythe drew a walk. After the pair moved up a bag on a groundout, Maher sent them in with a double down the right field line.

- After the Griffons plated five on a trio of home runs in the seventh, Schieber retired the visitors without harm in the top of the eighth. In the bottom half of the inning, Baderdeen began the Bearcat rally with a one-out single to center. After Blythe was hit by a pitch, Moses swung at the first pitch she saw, singling to left field. Baderdeen raced home after the Griffon defender misplayed the ball, scoring the winning run.
