MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Northwest Missouri State University men's and women's basketball teams will open the home portion of the 2016-17 MIAA schedule on Tuesday, Dec. 6, against rival Missouri Western.The Bearcat women will tip off against the Griffons at 5:30 p.m. followed by the Northwest men taking on Missouri Western at 7:30 p.m.

The Bearcat men are currently ranked No. 3 in the nation with a 7-0 overall record and a 1-0 mark in the MIAA. The Northwest women are off to a strong 5-3 start and will look for the team's first conference victory. Ticket information can be found HERE.

On Wednesday, Dec. 7, the Bearcat men's and women's teams will be at the Maryville Pizza Ranch starting at 4:45 p.m. as part of the Community Impact Night. Come meet members of both teams at the restaurant where they will be available for autographs and pictures. A portion of the restaurant sales, & all tips, will go to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the NCAA Division II's charitable organization.
