- Midway in the second quarter, Northwest made a run to pull ahead. Down by three, 19-16, Williams hit a layup to pull withon one. After a miss by the Miners,
Bailey Smith scored five straight points to put Northwest up by four, 23-19. Wilhelmi added a layup and Benson hit a free throw to give Northwest the 26-19 lead with 4:31 left in the second quarter.
