Soccer host Pink Game Friday afternoon

MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Northwest Missouri State University soccer team will host Northeastern State on Friday at 3 p.m. for the team's annual Pink Game. The Bearcats will be wearing pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness.

The annual event will be accompanied by representatives from SSM Health St. Francis Hospital to provide information about breast cancer. The Bearcats enter Friday's match with a 4-6-1 overall record and a 2-3 mark in MIAA play. The RiverHawks are ranked 21st in the latest NSCAA poll. NSU is tied for the MIAA lead with a 4-1 conference mark and an 11-1 overall record. This will be the first of the final four home matches for the Bearcats during the regular season. Northwest hosts Central Oklahoma on Sunday at 12:30 p.m.

The Bearcat volleyball team will also wear pink on Friday for its match against Washburn at 7 p.m.
