Story Headlines- The Northwest Missouri State University baseball team fell to Midland University 13-5 on Tuesday afternoon at Bearcat Field in Maryville, Mo.
- The Bearcats are now 19-25 on the year while Midland improves to 23-28.
- This was the last non-conference game of the season for Northwest. It was also the team's final regular season home game.
Key Northwest Statistics- The Bearcats scored five runs on seven hits with an error. Northwest got two runs in the fourth and single runs in the sixth, seventh and ninth innings.
- Midland scored 13 runs on 14 hits with three errors. The Warriors scored one in the first, six in the second, two in the fourth, one in the fifth, one in the seventh and two in the eighth.
- 
Nick Gotta was 2-for-3 on the day with a walk.

Adam Pennington each recorded an RBI. Pennington's came on a ninth-inning pinch hit homerun.

Taylor Bruch worked a scoreless 1.1 innings with three strikeouts.

Key Northwest Innings- Wulff doubled to lead off the fourth. After two quick outs, he moved to third on a wild pitch on a ball four call to 
Aaron Barratt.With Handzlik up, the Midland catcher tried to pick off Barratt at first but the ball sailed into foul territory down the right field line, allowing Wulff to score and Barrat moved all the way to third. Handzlik reached on an error by the shortstop, allowing Barratt to score.
- With one out in the sixth, Holler singled and moved to second on a groundout. Handzlik singled to right, scoring Holler.
- Douglas led off the seventh with a single and went to third on a Gotta single. Garber grounded out to second, allowing Douglas to score.
- With one out in the ninth, Pennington pinch hit and homered to center field, his first homerun of the season.
