Bearcats drop road game to Griffons

- The Northwest Missouri State University women's basketball team fell to Missouri Western, 58-37, on Wednesday evening in St. Joseph, Mo.

Key Sequence
- The Bearcats started off the game strong, scoring four of the game's first six points. Shull recorded a steal and scored the game's opening bucket. After a Griffon basket, Shull found Easton for a jumper to give the Bearcats a 4-2 lead. In addition, Easton's aggressive play forced Missouri Western's top scorer, LaQuinta Jefferson, into a pair of quick fouls, forcing her to the bench with 16:13 to go in the first half.
