Sarah Baldwin improved to 2-0 on the season after throwing a three hit shutout. She struck out two and did not walk a batter.

Stephanie Mark was a perfect 3-for-3 at the dish, driving in one run in the process.

Jessica Rawie hit one double and one home run with two RBI and two runs scored. Rawie also added a stolen base.

Rebecca Maher went 1-for-3 with an RBI, one run and one stolen base.
- Junior
Kendle Schieber added a single and drove in one run.

Game One Key Innings-
Kendle Schieber opened the third inning with a single up the middle. In the next at bat,
Jessica Rawie drove a double to left center. Three batters later,
Rebecca Maher drove home Schieber on a single through the left side. After Rawie scored on a perfectly executed double steal,
Stephanie Mark knocked Maher home on a single past the second baseman.
- The Bearcats added two insurance runs in the seventh when
Madison Jones led off with a single through the hole at short. Two batters later,
Jessica Rawie drove in Jones when she smashed her first collegiate home run to straight-away center.

- Northwest outhit the Hawks, nine to seven.

Game Two Key Innings- After
Cassidy Lee reached on an infield single in the first,
Stephanie Mark drove her home on a double to deep left center. Mark advanced to third on the throw and came around to score after the catcher threw the ball away.

Baylee Scarbrough opened the second inning with an opposite field triple and came around to score when
Madison Jones hit a two-run home run to left center.
- After Rockhurst took the lead in the sixth, Northwest had their first two runners aboard in the seventh.
Jessica Rawie singled past the shortstop and
Torri Blythe reached on an error. Both were stranded in scoring position after a pair of groundouts and a strikeout.

Up Next- The Bearcats are scheduled to head to Joplin, Mo. to participate in the Teri Mathis-Zenner Memorial tournament on Feb. 28 and Mar. 1. The Bearcats will play Illinois Springfield at 4 p.m. Saturday followed by a 6 p.m. contest with William Jewell.
