- The Bearcats hit .213 for the match, just below Washburn's .231.
- Northwest's best set came in the second set, hitting .371 with 16 kills and just three errors.
Key Northwest Sequence- Up 18-17 in the second set, Northwest went on a 5-0 run to help even the match at a set a piece. Bruder got a kill from Dannettell to make it 19-17 and then Washburn was called for a setting error to make it 20-17. After a block form Bruder and Williams, Washburn called a timeout. But on the ensuing point, Foster got a kill from Dannettell to make it 22-17. An over pass by the Ichabods floated to Foster who put it away on the next point to make it 23-17. The Bearcats would survive a mini rally from Washburn to take the set, 25-21.
