Volleyball falls to Washburn, 3-1

- Northwest Missouri State volleyball fell to Washburn University, 3-1, on Friday night inside Bearcat Arena.

- Northwest hit .171 for the match with 52 kills against 27 errors.
- The Bearcats tallied three service aces with Kirsten Hudgens notching a pair of aces while Dannettell contributed the other one.
- Northwest had six team blocks led by Becker's three block assists. Alexis Williams and Dannettell each had two block assists.
- Despite dropping the fourth set, the Bearcats held Wasburn to a game-low .200 attack percentage while forcing the set to extra points.

Key Northwest Sequence
Northwest came out firing in the opening set as the Bearcats grabbed a 3-0 lead and never looked back. Northwest led wire-to-wire, hitting .355 as a team with 15 kills against just four errors. The Bearcat defense also limited Washburn to a game-low 13 kills and a .267 attack percentage. Jackie Becker delivered the first two points of the set to pace the team.
