First Half Key Stats- Northwest had eight shots in the first half, but weren't able to capitalize.
- Defensively the Bearcats were stout, allowing only two shots on goal.
Second Half Key Stats- Mitchell connected with the only goal of the game in the 63rd minute.
Crystal McElhose sent a ball into the center of the box and Mitchell sent it into the upper left corner, out of reach of the goalie.
- The Bearcats controlled possession all night, but especially in the second half. They allowed the Flames to take one shot in the second half, while taking eight of their own.
- Northwest midfielders helped set up several scoring opportunities, but Flames defenders would step in at the last second to break up the play.
Turning Point of the Match-
Nicole Mitchell's goal gave the Bearcats all the momentum. After scoring, Northwest controlled the game the rest of the way, not allowing Saint Mary to take another shot.
