GRAND ISLAND, Neb. – The Northwest Missouri State men's tennis team ran the table in their season opener as they swept St. Cloud State 9-0.

Sergio De Vilchez defeated Joao Poli in straight sets, 6-3, 6-1 while Romain Bosissinot took down Victor Kasak, 6-2, 6-2.

Alvaro Riveros won 6-1, 6-2 over Joao Orsi, as did his teammate Lluis Altimires who beat Soufiane Moudfir, 6-4, 6-1.

Julien Couronne and Fin Glowick both won going 6-3, 6-0 and 6-4, 6-4 respectably.

Northwest opens their season 1-0 and will take on Cameron University at home March 6 for a 1 pm start.
