- Schechinger got off to a hot start, hitting her first five shots from the field. She finished the day 10-for-18 and 3-for-6 from behind the arc. Her three made three-pointers also matches her career high.

Ariel Easton contributed 17 points, hitting 7-of-16 shots on the day. She also distributed three assists, one steal, and one block.

- The Bearcats dominated underneath the basket, outscoring the Vikings 32-18 in the paint.

Key Sequence- The Bearcats opened the game with a quick basket four seconds in by
Ariel Easton. After Missouri Valley knotted things up on the other end,
Tember Schechinger drained a three-pointer off a pass from
Shelby Mustain to make the score 5-2. Schechinger would hit layups on the next two possessions for the Bearcats, followed by a close-range jumper by Easton. After finally missing a shot four minutes into the game, Schechinger hit another three pointer to give the Bearcats a 14-6 advantage. The Bearcats went on to hit eight of their first 11 shots in the contest, giving them an 18-8 lead six minutes into the game.
- Missouri Valley would rally early in the second half to close the gap to one, but another burst of scoring from Schechinger contributed to a 14-2 run for the Bearcats midway through the second half to put away the contest for good.
