Tember Schechinger hit a layup after blocking a shot on the defensive end, followed by a second block for Schechinger.
Taylor Shull hit a three-pointer on the next possession, then made a steal seconds later.
Shelby Mustain's enusing layup made the score 16-6 in favor of the Bearcats. After the Hillcats made a quick jumper, Northwest went on another run, scoring nine straight points. After
Tanya Meyer's layup with 6 minutes to play in the first half, the Bearcats found themselves ahead 25-8. They would maintain a double-digit lead for the remainder of the contest.
