Key Sequence- After trailing by as many as 13 late in the first half, the Bearcats kept the contest within single digits the entirety of the second period. Trailing 30-23 midway through the second frame,
Ariel Easton drilled a 3-pointer after a pass from
Taylor Shull.
Tember Schechinger blocked a shot on the other end, followed by a layup by
Tanya Meyer to close the gap to 30-28. Moments later Shull would hit a jumper and Meyer hit a free throw to close the gap to one. Made free throws down the strech sealed the victory for the Wildcats.
