Soccer drops road match to Southwest Baptist

- The loss drops the Bearcats to 5-4-1 on the year and 2-3-1 in MIAA play. SBU improves to 8-2 overall and 5-1 in conference action.

- Northwest had trouble getting things going on offense, taking three shots in the match. Meanwhile SBU took 29 shots in the game.
- Malloy had nine saves on the day on 12 shots on goal.
- Elizabeth Lee took three corner kicks for the Bearcats, while SBU took seven.
- The SBU Bearcats were whistled for 12 fouls in the game and Northwest was assessed nine fouls.
- Ashley Cole continued her strong week of play with two shots, one of which was on goal. Taylor Trotter also took a shot that was saved.
- Defensively the Bearcats blocked five shots, preventing SBU from a scoring opportunity.
