Story Highlights- The Northwest Missouri State volleyball team picked up a 3-0 win over Pittsburg State on Friday night in Bearcat Arena.
- Northwest moves to 7-8 on the season and 4-3 in MIAA play. Pittsburg State drops to 5-10 overall and 2-5 in conference action.
- The Bearcats hit .297 as a team with 49 kills against just 16 errors. Northwest hit over .300 in the second and third sets.

Miranda Foster and
Natalie Gora each had 12 kills to lead the way offensively for the Bearcats.
- Foster added seven digs and three blocks. Gora had two blocks and hit .370 on the evening.

Jackie Becker had 10 kills and hit .389 on the match. She also had one solo block and three block assists.

Sarah Dannettell had 40 assists, six digs, three kills and a block assist.

Bailey Vance had a match-high 17 digs and a kill.
- The Bearcats hit .351 in the second set, winning 25-21. Northwest had 18 kills against just five errors.
- In the fourth set, the Bearcats committed just four attacking errors, hitting .312 with 14 kills.
- Pittsburg State hit just .170 for the match.
- Northwest had 9.0 team blocks compared to Pittsburg State's 6.0 total blocks.
Key Match Moment- With the score tied, 25-25 in the opening set, Northwest forced an attacking error from Pittsburg State to go up, 26-25. On the next serve, Becker came up with a block on an attack from Paula Okrutna to seal the set. Northwest would go on to win the next two sets to claim the match.
Up Next- Northwest will host Southwest Baptist on Saturday evening at 6 p.m. The match will feature free admission following the football game against Northeastern State at 1 p.m.
