Volleyball sweeps Pitt State to open weekend

- The Northwest Missouri State volleyball team picked up a 3-0 win over Pittsburg State on Friday night in Bearcat Arena.

- Northwest had 9.0 team blocks compared to Pittsburg State's 6.0 total blocks.

Key Match Moment
- With the score tied, 25-25 in the opening set, Northwest forced an attacking error from Pittsburg State to go up, 26-25. On the next serve, Becker came up with a block on an attack from Paula Okrutna to seal the set. Northwest would go on to win the next two sets to claim the match.
