Story Highlights- The Northwest Missouri State soccer team was defeated by Central Missouri, 3-1, Sunday in Maryville.- The result moves the Bearcats to 6-9-1 on the season and 3-8-1 in the MIAA. The #9 Jennies are now 15-0-1 and 12-0 in the conference.-
Taylor Sellars was recognized at halftime for Senior Day. She made her 64th start for the Bearcats and will be in the top 10 for career starts by the end of the season.

Northwest Statistics-
The Bearcats started the game aggressively, taking several shots in the first few minutes.
- Ashley Malloy made five saves in the match.
- Northwest controlled possession for much of the match, taking 14 shots as a team. Central Missouri took 10 shots.
- The Jennies scored twice in the first half, first on a shot by Abby Rhodes that narrowly crossed the goal line in the 20th minute.
- Jessica Spradley took three shots in the match, two on goal.
- Crystal McElhose took a shot from 22 yards out, but the goalie made a leaping save.
- Elizabeth Lee took eight corner kicks for the Bearcats, while the Jennies had only two in the match.
- The Bearcats were whistled for six fouls, while the Jennies committed 11.
- Taylor Trotter added three shots on goal.
- Worsfold scored in the 63rd minute after
Jessica Spradley sent in a perfect pass from the left side. Worsfold booted it past the goalie from eight yards out.
Up Next- Northwest will wrap up the regular season next weekend on the road. They will play in St. Joseph, Mo. against Missouri Western on Friday, Oct. 31 at 7 p.m. The Bearcats will head to St. Charles, Mo. to play Lindenwood on Sunday, Nov. 2.Â
