Story Highlights- The Northwest Missouri State football team moved to 6-0 on the year with a 50-21 win over Lindenwood on Saturday in St. Charles, Mo.
- It was the Bearcats' 21st consecutive win overall, dating back to the 2013 season opener. It was also the seventh consecutive road win for Northwest.
- The Bearcats scored touchdowns in all three phases of the game, offensively, defensively and on special teams.
Key Northwest Individual Statistics-
Brady Bolles threw two touchdowns and was 16-for-25 on the day for 204 yards. He also ran the ball six times for 36 yards.

Cameron Wilcox was the team's leading rusher, gaining 43 yards on seven carries.

Robert Burton III had 24 yards on eight carries and a touchdown.

Randy Schmidt ran the ball three times for 17 yards and a touchdown, including his first collegiate rushing touchdown on the opening drive.
- Northwest completed passes to 11 different receivers.
Jason Jozaites had a team-high five catches for 70 yards.

George Sehl had three catches for 41 yards and a touchdown.
- Linebacker
Jacob Vollstedt caught his second touchdown of the season on a two yard pass in the second quarter.

Brock Sherman had a team-high seven tackles.

D.J. Gnader had four tackles including a sack and a pass breakup.
- Northwest had 7.0 tackles for loss on the day, led by Gnader's 1.5.

Bryce Enyard and
Kevin Arnold each recorded 1.0 tackles for loss.

Marcus Jones had Northwest's first kickoff return (96 yards) for a touchdown since Enyard's 85 yarder against St. Cloud State on Dec. 7 last year.

Travis Manning's 28 yard pick-six was the Bearcats' first since
Brian Dixon's 39 yard return against Washburn on Nov. 2 of 2013.

Simon Mathiesen was 2-for-2 on field goal tries (26, 31) and went 3-for-3 in PAT tries.

Ben Trewyn hit his only field goal attempt, a 25 yarder in the second quarter. He was 3-for-3 as well in PAT tries. Trewyn also recorded two tackles on the day in coverage.
Key Northwest Team Statistics- The 50 points was the most scored by the Bearcats this season.
- Northwest had 24 first downs on the day. The offense gained 431 total yards, 173 on the ground and 258 in the air.
- Northwest recorded its first defensive and special teams touchdowns of the season.
- The Bearcats held a 32:22 - 24:22 time of posession advantage.
- On third downs, Northwest was 4-of-13 while holding Lindenwood to 5-of-19.
- The Lions gained just 40 yards rushing on 20 carries.
- Northwest recovered a fumbled punt in the fourth quarter on a
Kyle Goodburn kick.
- Northwest was 7-for-7 on red zone scores in the game.
- The Bearcats were flagged, however, 17 times for 175 yards. Lindenwood was called for 11 penalties for 91 yards.
- Saturday marked the first meeting between the two schools. Lindenwood was the last MIAA school to have never faced the Bearcats.
Northwest Scoring Plays- Northwest received the opening kick and scored on an 18-yard run by Schmidt to cap a three-play 58 yard drive that took just 1:02 off the clock. Jozaites caught a 21 yard pass on the first play of the game from Bolles.

Robert Burton III capped a nine-play, 38 yard drive on a one yard touchdown run. Northwest started the drive on Lindenwood's 38 yard line after a short punt.

Simon Mathiesen hit a 26 yard field goal to give northwest a 17-0 lead midway thorugh the first quarter.

Ben Trewyn hit a 25 yard field goal to make it 20-6 to start the second quarter. Bolles completed passes to Sehl (17 yards), and Jozaites (14 yards) on the drive. Wilcox had a 19 yard run that was helped by a penalty on Lindenwood.

Travis Manning intercepted a pass and returned it 28 yards for a touchdown to make it 27-6 with 12:26 left in the second quarter.
- Linebacker
Jacob Vollstedt caught his second touchdown pass of the season from Bolles from two yards out to make it 34-6 with 6:40 to go in the seocnd quarter. That capped a nine-play, 64 yard drive that included a 34 yard pass to
Alex Visk and a 16 yard pass to
Marcus Wright.
- Before the end of the half, Mathesen kicked a 31 yard field goal to give the Bearcats a 37-6 halftime lead.

George Sehl caught a four-yard touchdown pass from Bolles to begin the third quarter. The drive covered just 26 yards in five plays after another short punt from Lindenwood.
- After giving up a Lion touchdown,
Marcus Jones returned the ensuing kickoff 96 yards for a touchdown to give Northwest a 51-13 lead.
