WARRENSBURG, Mo. – The Northwest Missouri State women's soccer team was defeated by No. 14 Central Missouri Saturday as they fell 5-0.

The Bearcats kept pace with the Jenni's in the first half allowing only one goal during the fourth minute of the contest.

Sophie Malcom collected five saves in the first half as she started her second career game for Northwest in goal.

UCM took control in the second half by adding four more goals to go up 5-0.

The Bearcats were unable to find the back of the net as they posted three shots on goal in the game.

Northwest moves to 4-10-2. 2-7-1 on the season and will return home for their final home game of 2013 Friday to take on UCM with kickoff scheduled for 3 p.m.
