- Northwest scored two in the first, one in the seventh and two in the ninth. The Griffons had two in the second, two in the third, two in the sixth, one in the seventh and three in the eight.

Quintin Van Ackeren worked 2.0 innings of relief. He allowed just one run on one hit, striking out four. He struck out the side in the fifth and retired the first six batters he faced.
Key Northwest Innings
- Northwest got a two-out rally in the first as Figg hit a double to right field. Hassman followed it up with a double to left center on a 3-0 count, scoring Figg. Holler then knocked a single through the right side to drive in Hassman, making it 2-0 Bearcats.
- With one down in the seventh, Greenslade legged out an infield single to the right side, beating the pitcher to the base. Rycraft reached on an error by the left fielder allowing Greenslade to reach second and Fort drew a walk to load the bases. After a flyout, Greenslade came in to score on a wild pitch.
- Rycraft started the ninth with a double down the left field line. Fort put a ball to the warning track that bounced up against the fence for a triple, driving in Rycraft. After a flyout, Figg grounded out to first, allowing Fort to score from third.
