Key Northwest Innings
- Lewis worked a full count before drawing a one-out walk in the bottom of the second and promptly stole second. Barratt sent him in with a single back up the middle, handing Northwest an early 1-0 lead.

- After Northeastern State leveled the score in the fourth, Adams started a two-out rally in the fifth with a single to the gap in right center. Gotta drove him home with a line drive double off the fence just inside the left field foul pole.

- Nick Howard opened the sixth with a single through the hole at short and quickly advanced to third when Lewis sent a double to right. Barratt then reached on an error by the third baseman, scoring Howard. Lewis scored in the next at bat when pinch hitter Austin Wulff grounded into a double play, putting Northwest in front, 4-2.

- Northeastern State again responded, scoring three runs in the seventh, two being unearned. The Bearcats clawed back to level the score at five in the bottom half of the inning when Adams dropped in a bloop single to center. The second baseman moved up to second on a balk before moving to third on a ground out. After Jay Hrdlicka walked, head coach Darin Loe called for a double steal. Hrdlicka forced a throw to second, allowing Adams to take off for home. The RiverHawk defender's throw home was off line, giving Northwest the tying run.

- Fort led off the bottom of the ninth with an infield single to deep short and headed for second on Fort's sacrifice bunt. The RiverHawks intentionally walked Gotta before loading the bases on a walk to Howard two batters later. Holler ended the game when he sent a 1-0 pitch to center, scoring Fort.
